24th International Theatre Festival “Kontakt”

The Cultural and Congress Centre Jordanki was one of the festival objects of the 24^th International Theatre Festival “Kontakt”, held on 19-25  May 2018 in Toruń. The Concert Hall staged three competition shows: Lokis directed by Łukasz Twarkowski, Without a Dowry by Dmitrij Krymov and Requiem for L. by Fabrizio Cassol and Alain Platel – the last of them won the Grand Prix of the Festival. Except for the Concert Hall – the organizer of this event – Wilam Horzyca Threatre in Toruń – also used other areas available in the facility. In the Chamber Hall (in a configuration without auditorium) dramas were read in the scope of the project Lubimowka, and the conference rooms were used for rehearsal during the festival, dance workshops (Gaga People), meetings, debates and discussions. In the press room drama workshops were organised, in the scope of the project Niepodlegli 18’18.
